A főrész öt fejezetben a Mester és Tanítvány között folyó párbeszédben az anabaptisták tanítását fejti ki, amely szerint gyermekeknek tilos a keresztséget kiszolgáltatni.Alessandro Willini olasz származású varsói orvos (?) e mű elején olvasható és Dávid Ferenchez írt levele szerint Gyulai Farkastól hallott Dávid működéséről. Azért fordította németre és küldötte meg ismeretlenül a németalföldi anabaptisták írását, hogy azt Dávid Erdélyben magyarul és németül kinyomassa. Ennek alapján már Szabó Károly is Dávid Ferencnek tulajdonította a fordítás munkáját. Trócsányi Zoltán véleménye szerint e mű nyelvi és helyesírási sajátosságai nem annyira Dávid, mint inkább Heltai Gáspár stílusára emlékeztetnek. E felé a nézet felé hajlott Horváth János is. Pirnát Antal a német szöveggel (RMNy 292.) végzett egybevetés, valamint tartalmi és stílusbeli összehasonlítások alapján feltételezte, hogy e művet Dávid Ferenc fordította magyarra. A mű flamand eredetije nem ismeretes. (Hungarian)
